Rockland Treatment Center in New Port Richey: Comprehensive Care Rockland Treatment Center in New Port Richey: Comprehensive Care

We deliver specialized support for mental health conditions. Our focus includes anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and anger-related concerns. We ensure a protected and encouraging atmosphere. Situated close to oceanfronts and recreational areas, we promote engaging outdoor options. Our principles arise from recognizing addiction as an illness influencing both mental processes and behaviors. Evolving definitions of addiction stem from ongoing studies and progress in science. Presently, the National Institute on Drug Abuse characterizes it as a long-term, relapsing brain condition involving obsessive drug seeking and usage, regardless of adverse effects. It is classified as a brain disease because substances modify brain anatomy and operations. Such modifications can persist and contribute to damaging behaviors in individuals struggling with drug abuse. Over the years, diverse treatment strategies and recommended stay lengths have been applied to modify the often disruptive behaviors associated with harmful drinking or drugging. Few approaches have proven effective. Nevertheless, hope exists! Contact us today for support at 727-220-2422.

Mission

We provide comprehensive care for mental health challenges. Our expertise covers areas like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and anger management. We create a secure and supportive setting. Located near coastal areas and green spaces, we facilitate various outdoor pursuits. Our approach is based on understanding addiction as a condition impacting both cognition and actions. Advances in research have evolved the concept of addiction. Currently, the National Institute on Drug Abuse describes it as a persistent, recurring disorder of the brain, marked by uncontrollable substance pursuit and consumption, even when it leads to negative outcomes. This is viewed as a brain disorder since substances alter brain structure and function. These alterations may endure and result in harmful patterns observed in substance misuse. Various treatment methods and ideal durations have been tested over time to address the antisocial tendencies linked to excessive alcohol or drug use. Not many have succeeded. Yet, there is optimism! Reach out to us for assistance at 727-220-2422.

Now, the National Institute on Drug Abuse defines it as a chronic, recurring brain illness characterized by persistent drug craving and consumption, despite detrimental results. It is regarded as a brain disease as drugs alter the brain's structure and functionality. These changes can be enduring and lead to harmful actions in those misusing drugs. Throughout history, multiple treatment approaches and optimal durations have been introduced to address the antisocial behaviors tied to excessive drinking or drug use.
