We equip determined people with a base to achieve liberation from the grips of substance dependency. As a collective, we prioritize the well-being and protection of our residents above all.

The creators and managers of Middle River Asheville consist of a married couple with a total of 37 years of ongoing personal recovery and more than 32 years of expertise in the addiction treatment sector, enabling them to provide crucial guidance for early recovery stages. We hold certification from the North Carolina Association of Recovery Residences. Our recovery houses are positioned in and near downtown Asheville, with easy access to public transit and various job opportunities. We offer in-house Wi-Fi, cable, and laundry services. Regular random drug and alcohol tests are mandatory. We assist with referrals to therapists, counselors, specialists in addiction, outpatient services, primary doctors, nutrition programs, and additional resources. We track your advancement in connecting with a suitable sponsor. Weekly house meetings are required. A minimum stay of 90 days is necessary. The weekly rent is $190, and upon arrival, we require a $760 non-refundable admin fee, a $100 refundable key deposit, and the first four weeks' rent, making the total initial cost $1,620.
